This registers the gift of a silver pot weighing 294 kaḻaṅju for the abhishēka (bath) of the god by a queen (Nambirāṭṭiyar) whose name is not clear. It might perhaps be Nak[kaṉ Aru]moḻi Prati(mādēviyar). Tiruviśalūr is here stated to have formed part of Vēmbaṛṛūr alias Sōḻamārttāṇḍa-chaturvēdi maṅgalam, a dēvadāṉa - brahmadēya situated in Maṇṇi-nāḍu a subdivision of Rājēndrasiṁha - vaḷanāḍu to the north of the river.

This also begins with the same introduction. It records a gift of land, half vēli and odd in extent, for a perpetual lamp in the temple by queen Vānavaṉmā- dēviyar the mother of Rājēndra-Chōḻa (No. 448 of 1918). The details of her relation- ship as also of the land are lost in the damaged portion. A reference is made to the land-survey evidently of the time of Rājarāja 1.

This is built in at the top and in the middle. It registers a gift of 200 kāśu to the temple by Rudraṉ Arumoḻi alias Prithumahādēviyār queen of Rājarājadeva for the daily feeding of five Brāhmaṇas therein. With this money the temple purchased some lands from two or three private individuals as investment towards this provision.

This is built in at the end of the lines. It seems to register a grant of one vēli and 4 ma of land at Rājāakēsari - chaturvēdimaṅgalam a brahmadēya in nallūr-nāḍu a division of Nittavinōda-vaḷanāḍu, and a house (or site) at Vembaṛṛür alias Sōḻamārttānda-chaturvēdimaṅgalam to an Ambaṭṭa resident of the latter place by name Araiyaṉ Uttamasśōḻaṉ alias Rājēndrasśōḻa-Prayōgadaraiyaṉ as Śalyakriyā- bhōga (surgery-grant ?), by Aḻvār Sri Parāntakan Kundavāippirāṭṭiyar (the paternal aunt of the king and elder sister of Rājarāja I), while she was staying in the palace at Paḻaiyāṟu.

The details of the date are given as Kumbha, ba. 1. Monday, Anusham but are irregular.This registers a sale of land which was tank-irrigated and which measured 2 mā, 3 kāṇi and odd in extent for 800 kāśu to the temple of Tiruviśālūr-Uḍaiyār by Amudāḍṇāḷ-Sāni, wife of Gōmaḍattu Yajñamapināyaka-Bhaṭṭa of Kiḻānaḍichchēri a quarter of Vēmbaṛṛūr , with her son Śrirāma-Bhaṭṭa acting on her behalf as mudukṇa (guardian). The land is said to have formed part of a bigger plot presented by her husband to her and to her son (another) Mahādēva-Bhaṭṭa, the latter of whom had previously sold his share to the temple.

This records a gift of land 10 śey (mā?) in extent, after purchasing it from the temple itself, of Mahādēva at Tirukkuraṅgāḍutuṟai in Tiraimūr -nāḍu, by Śattaṉ Aruvāṭṭāran a member of the Pirāntaka-teriñja-Kaikkōḻar (regiment of the king?) for burning one perpetual lamp and nine ordinary lamps during the services in the temple, on behalf of four ladies (probably close relations of the donor) attached to the royal palace (Kōdaṇḍavēḷam) at Tañjāvūr.

This is damaged. The introduction begins with the words Pugaḻ mādu vilḷaṅga. The inscription records a gift of 3 1/4 kaḻaṅju of gold to the temple for burning a perpetual lamp, by one I[rugṇa]ḍi-Uḍaiyāṇ of Ambar in Ambar-nāḍu. Tiraimūr - nāḍu in which Tirukkurangāḍutuṛai was situated is said to have formed a division of Ulaguyyakkoṇḍasśōḻa-vaḷanāḍu.

This is possibly an inscription of Rājarāja II, in which case the date would be 1161-62 A. D. It is damaged and seems to register a sale of 7 mā of land belonging to the temple to one...koṇḍaśōḻa-Pallavaraiyaṉ. The Śivabrāhmaṇas who received the amount from the purchaser agreed to measure out 3 kalam and odd of paddy every year to the temple. The purchaser is said to have improved the land by digging a well therein and to have agreed to certain obligations to fulfil to the temple, which are lost in the damaged portion of the record. Suṅgaṉtavirttasśōḻa- Pērāṛu is referred to as the northern boundary of the land.

The details of the date are given as Tulā, ba. 3, Sunday, Rōhiṇi, which would correspond to A. D. 1229, October 7. This registers an endowment of 500 kuḻi of land named Añjōḻāṉ-viḷāgam for rice offering to the goddess Tiruppaḷḷi-aṛai Nāchchiyār during the early morning service in the temple, by Araiyaṉ Tiruvēgambam- uḍaiyāṇ of Porōśaikkuḍi in Uyyakkoṇḍar-vaḷaṇāḍu, who had also consecrated the goddess. The land was exempted from the taxes like antarāyam and pāṭṭam by the aḍaippu-mudalis (?) and the mahāsabhā of the village (Nallōr-Pudukkuḍi) in which the land was situated. After offerings the rice was to be distributed among the members of the temple establishment. During the service the name of the donor was to be announced in the words "Porōśaikkuḍaiyāṇ -Tambirāṉ has come".

This is the royal order issued to the authorities of the temple of Tiruvaiyāṟ Uḍaiyār at Kulōttuṅgasśōḻaṉ-Kuṛṛāḻam in Tiruvaḻundūr-nāḍu a division of Jayan gonḍaśōḻa-vaḷanāḍu naming the tax free grant mentioned in No. 374 above, viz. 4 1/4 vēli and odd of garden land at Virarājēndra-chaturvēdimaṅgalam yielding an annual rent of 60 kalam of paddy per véli, and 6 ½ kāśu in addition by way of income from the areca-nut palms for the requirements of daily worship etc., to the deity, as an equivalent of 200 kalam of paddy per year which had been presented by the king in his 29th year.

This records a gift of 90 sheep for a perpetual lamp in the temple by one Araiyaṉ Kumaraṉ of Puduvūr in Thirunaṛaiyūr-nāḍu.

The inscription gives the same short introduction of the king and the details of date also are the same. This registers a gift of two pieces of land measuring 7 mā and odd in extent by the Brāhmaṇa and Veāḷḷḷa land owners of Śivapādaśēkhara-chaturvēdimaṅgalam to the temple of Tiruvaiyāruḍaiyār so as to provide it with 60 kalam of paddy per year free of any taxes (iṛai). This paddy is said to have been originally measured out to the temple of Soṉṉavāṛaṛivār of which their village was the dēvadāṉa but was now transferred therefrom for reasons not stated. The donors undertook to pay the iṛai on the lands themselves and also not to collect the antarāyam (rent?) which seems to have been due from such tax-free lands.

The king is here called Tribhuvanaviradēva who performed the anointment of heroes and victors after having taken Madurai, Iḻam. Karuvūr and the crowned head of the Pāṇḍya .' The details of the date given viz., Rishabha, ba. 10, Monday, Uttiraṭṭādi would give the equivalent A. D. 1211, May 6. This registers a gift of a quarter (vēli) of land belonging to the Sabhā of nallūr-Pudukkuḍi, to the temple of Tiruvaiyāṟuḍaiyār as tirunamattukkāṇi and ūrkiḻ-iṛaiyili after relieving it from the previous holder.

This bears the same short introduction and details of date as Nos. 380 and 381 above. It records a gift of a hundred kalam of paddy per year due to the mahā-Sabhā of [Rājēn]dra-chaturvēdimaṅgalam as iṛai (for sabhā-viṉiyōgam) from Maṅgalaṅkiḻāṉ Āṇḍukoṇḍan Amuḍāḻvāṉ a veḷḷāḷa landlord of the place on his land, to the temple of Tiruvaiyāṛuḍaiyār.

The king is called Tribhuvanaviradēva who took Madurai, Iḻam (and Karuvūr) and the crowned head of the Pāṇḍya , and performed the anointment (of heroes and victors). The inscription is much damaged in the first half. It seems to register an endowment of land by one Tirunaṭṭapperumāṉ a resident of Āṉaich- chūḻ in Tiraimūr -nāḍu a division of Uyyakkoṇḍar-vaḷanāḍu for the requirements of worship, both daily and special. to god Tiruveṇkāduḍaiyār consecrated by the donor in the western portion of the first prākāra in the temple of Tiruviḍaikkuḷam- Uḍaiyār at the place. This seems to have been added to two vēli of land at Danavinōdanallūr presented to the main temple in the 25th year of the king by Arayaṉ Ediriliśōḻar alias Śōḻiyavaraiyar of Pālaivayal under the name Śōḻiyavaraiyar- kuḍikkāḍu and supplemented by the latter with another gift of one vēli of land in the next year. It is not clear why there was an interval of 14 years between the gift and its recording on stone.

This seems to be an inscription of Rājarāja III and it refers to the fixation of rent in paddy accruing from the lands now granted, in the 40th year of Āḻvaṉ by which is evidently meant the predecessor king Kulōttuṅga III. The inscription records the royal order to the tax-officers to grant the uḻari to the temple of Tiruviḍaikkuḷam-Uḍaiyār at Āṉaichchūḻ remitting the ṟiai (rent) due from four fields measuring 11 vēli and odd in extent in all. The income in paddy thus granted to the temple is said to have amounted to 476 and odd kalam. The Tirumandira-ōḻai issuing the order was Minavaṉ-Mūvēndavēlān-

The inscription begins with the introduction Puyal vāyttu vaḷam peruga etc. The details of date are given as Kaṟkāṭaka, śu. 12, Saturday, Mūlam (=A. D. 1187, July 18.) This records the formation of a village under the name Kulōttuṅgasśōḻaṉ Nyāyaparipāla-chaturvēdimaṅgalam by grouping the several lands purchased from the surrounding villages to the extent of six vēli by Edirilisśōḻaṉ alias Iruṅgōḻaṉ of Sēndamaṅgalam in Neṉmali-nāḍu, a division of Rājēndraśōḻa-vaḷanāḍu, who got the royal order for its entry in the uḷvari register before presenting the village to the temple as tirmṉmattukkāṇi and ur-iṟaiyili for providing for worship and repairs in the temple. The land actually under account in the revenue register is said to have measured 5 vēli and odd.
