Sale of land by the mahāsabāh of Karikālachōḻa-chaturvēdimaṅgalam in Kuṛukkai-nāḍu of Virudarājabhayṅkara-vaḷanāḍu on the north bank, which assembled at the temple of Karikalach ōḻa-viṇṇagar-Aḻvār in the village. The sale was made to pay off some tax arrears of those landholders of the village who left the village without paying their land dues. The land was purchased by a Pūṇdi-udaiyāṉ Uyyavandāṉ Ñānaśivar for instituting some services in the temple praying for the health of the king (tiruvāymoḻindaruḻum tirumēni) and his family.

Gift of land in the northern hamlet called Āṇaipōki by the sabhā of some neighbour village (name lost) in Miḷalai-nāḍu in Virudarāja-bhayaṅkara-vaḷanāḍu for opening a road, called Rājagambīran through which the god of Tiruppaṇandāḷ temple had to be taken in procession to. the river Koḷḷiḍam on festive days. Detailed measurements of the road are given. The sabhā also arranged to plant 750 coconut saplings on both sides of the road. Nearly eighty Brāhmaṇa members of the sabhā have signed the document.

Registers the sale by a temple priest (Śivabrāhmana) of his right of worship to recoup a portion of money which he had misappropriated from the temple treasury (in the form of gold and silver ornaments, bronze utensils, etc.). He and several others of his colleagues had been habitual offenders since long as known from previous official investigations carried out respectively by Rājarāja-mūvēndavēlār, the Sēnāpati Pallavarājar and the Sēnāpati Nandiyarājar in the 3rd year of Adhirājēdra (1070), and in the 8th and 21st years of the present king (1078 and 1091 respectively). On the present occasion while the king visited the temple for worship he was informed about about the disruption of services due to the misappropriation of the temple funds by the Śivabrāhmanas and thereupon he ordered for the recovery of the pilfered property.

This is related to the above inscription and seems to be in continuation of the above one as it abruptly begins with the year 29th of the king, obviously Kulōttuṅga I (1099). It records similar sales of their right of worship by five other temple priests on account of similar misap- propriations.

The king's eulogy is given in lines 1-44. States that at the request of Muṉaiyadaraiyar. the king ordered for the proper arrangement of the different services in the temple using the income of some tirunāmattukkāṇi land at Uttaṅguḍi alias Kōṭṭaiyūr in Kuṛukkai-nāḍu in Virudarajābhayaṅkara-vaḷanāḍu. It is said that until he current year there was no inscription and proper record of the services that depended on the income. On representation (viṇṇappam) regarding this by Muṇaiyadaraiyar the king issued the relevant order to set it right. The tirumandira-ōlai, Vikkiramasiṅga-Viḻupparaiyar wrote the royal order and the purvuvari-tiṇaik- kaḷa-nāyagam Nittavinōda-Mūvēndavēḷān got it inscribed on stone.

Gift of 30 kāsu for a lamp by a dancing girl called Taḍuttāṭkoṇḍāḷ Chaḍaimēlirundāl alias Nāṛpatteṇṇāyira-naṅgai of the temple of Tiruvaigāvudaiyār in Aṇḍāṭṭu-kāṛṛam of Vikramachōḻa- vaḷanāḍu

Records that a Pūṇdi-uḍaiyāṉ Sūriyaṉ Pavaḷakkuṇṛaṇār alias Vaṇṇāduḍaiyār rebuilt in stone the old brick temple of Tiruvaigāvudaiya-Māhadēva in Aṇḍāṭṭu-kūṛṛam in Uyyak- koṇḍachōḻa-vaḷanāḍu. He hailed from Paravaichchuṛṛu-Pūṇdi in Rājarāja-vaḷanāḍu. He also added, with the king's permission, to the dēvadāna of the temple by a gift of land in Kaḷap- pākuḍi in Viṛai-kūṛṛam, a unit of Ulaguyyavandachōḻa-vaḷanāḍu. The additional land mea- sured 20 and odd vēli, yielding 1200 and odd kalam of paddy.

The trustees of the temple received 30 kalam of paddy from Nānāndūr-uḍaiyār Pugalivēndar, in lieu of which they remitted permanently the taxes due to temple from the monastery (guhai) called Tirumuḍiyāl-naḍandāṇ that was presided over by the donor. The paddy was set apart for the wages of the stone masons engaged for some renovation work in the temple.

Sale of land by the trustees of the temple of Tiruvaikāvuḍaiyar to Vamasiva-Mudaliyar of the lineage of the Mudaliyārs of Chelva-Tiruvārūr (maṭha). The sale amount of 3000 kāsu was meant for the supply of unguents to the image of Villavana-Perumāl in this temple.

A woman called Andappulaperumāḷ wife of Anapāyavaṇukkan and her daughter had to sell their dēvadāna land in Edirilichōḻa-nallür, measuring one vēli and odd, and two houses for 28,800 kāsu for paying off the arrears of the taxes due on their holding. For the sale, one Chērapāṇḍiyan Tambirān-aṇukkaṇ acted as the male guardian (mudukaṇ). The default in the payment was found out by Piḷḷai Muṇaiyadaraiyar who was in charge of the temple lands, by auditing the accounts from the 24th to 33rd year (of the king).

This land was located in the dēvadāna village Tribhuvanamādēvi-chaturvēdimaṅgalam. It is said the seller had got the land from her mother as śrīdhanam. Built in at the bottom.

This is said to be a solidarity (orimai) deed made by a big assembly of the sabhāiyar of Śrī-parān- taka-nāḍu of Iṇṇnambar-nāḍu a unit of Vikkiramachōḻa-vaḷanāḍu on the north bank and and the va langai-98 and the idangai-98 communities opposing the unjust taxation of the government and the exploiting nature of the jīvitam holders. The assembly decided that hereafter they should not yield to the official and other exploitation and should pay the government taxes (irājagaram iṛai-muṛai- mai) on their land and on various professions as fixed in this meeting. The detailed enumeration of the rates of taxes is given. It is said that the assembled members came to the decision encouraged by an earlier revolt of their brethren elsewhere in several nāḍus of Vaḻudalampaṭṭu Uchāvadi. To celebrate the solidarity achievement, the assembly decided to institute a service named Peri- yanāṇṭān-sandhi in the temple of Tiruvaigāvudaiya-nāyanār (where the inscription is put up) with income from a vēli of land in each of the temple villages (taḷigai ūr).
