This records a gift of 30 kaḷañju of gold left with the ‘Thirty-two' (members of the assembly), for burning a perpetual lamp in the temple of Mahādēva at Tirup- palanam a devadāna in Virai-kūṟṟam, by Sembiyaṉ Arkāṭṭu-Vēlāṇ alias Maravan Nakkaṉ the headman of Puriśai in Parivaṇḍatturai a subdivision of Arkāṭṭu-kūṟṟam. Evidently an inscription of Āditya I.

ருத்ராஷங் கட்டின (குறியீடு) இருபத்தறுகழஞ்சரைக்கல் பிறையுடைய நயபாளம் க

This should also be an inscription of Āditya I. It records the gift of a gold necklace of rudraksha beads with a clasp (?) set with diamonds, rubies and sapphire for the god by Gangama[r*]ttāṇḍa alias Sembiyaṉ Pṟrithivigangaraiyar, son Mahādēvar (the chief) of Pangala-nāḍu. This doner has been surmised to be the brother of Alivin Kallarasi alias Sembiyaṉ Bhuvanigangaraiyar of Nos. 93 and 177 of 1931 and Sembiyaṉ Prithivigangaraiyar of No. 139 of 1928 (M.E.R. 1931, II, 8).

This record is incised in early characters and has therefore been assigned to Āditya I (M:E.R. 1931, II. 4). It registers a gift of 25 kaḻañju for a perpetual lamp in the temple by Gāndharvan Bāradāyaṉ Singaṉ Srikaṇṭhaṉ. The ends of the lines are built in.

கழஞ்சுங் கொண்டு உழக்கு நெய்யால் இரவு…

The inscription is built in at the right end. It registers an endowment in gold made by a certain Guṇavaṉ Puttaṉ of Kaḷattūr-kōṭṭam ?] for a perpetual lamp in the temple to be maintained by the sabhā of Tirutturutti. The donor seems to be identical with Gunavan Puttadi mentioned in No. 273 above from Pillaisthānam, which is dated in the 17th year of the king. The name of his native village is given there as Kumārapāḍi in Vaidāvūr-nāḍu a subdivision of Kaḷattūr-kōṭṭam. The record is assignable to the reign of Āditya I on account of its early script.

This records a sale of a quarter portion (or vēli ?) of land (kāṟchey) by the Mila- parishad of Tirukkuḍamukkil, a dēvudān in Pambur-nāḍu on the northern bank (of the Kāvēri), to a certain Arayaṇ Kalangāmalai, a l'ellala resident of Tañjavūr who endowed it to the temple of Tirukkilkōṭṭattu-Paramasvamin for the daily feeding of a Sirayōgi in the temple. The land is said to have formed part of 4 reli which the assembly had received as abhishēka-dakshinai from the king).

This records a gift of 90 sheep for a perpetual lamp in the temple of Paramasvāmi of Kiḻkōṭṭam, by Kumaraṉñ Tūdu[va]n, a Kaikkōla resident of Tañjavūr who was a member of the Viraśōla-teriñja-Kaikkōlar (community or regiment). They were left in charge of two shepherds who were to supply 7 nāli and 1 uri of ghee every month for the purpose. Virasola was a surname of king Parāntaka I and the inscription might therefore be referred to Gaṇḍarāditya, his immediate successor.

This registers an endowment of 2 plots of land by a certain Āḻchchaṅṟān Mun- nuṟṟuvapperumāṇ alias Sōḻavēl Enādi, a resident of Tirukkaṇṇapuram (also called Srikṟishṇapuram), a dēvadāna and brahmadēya in Marugar-nāḍu, after purchasing them from a private individual and from the sabhā of the village.

This records a gift of land after purchase, made tax-free by a payment in gold to the Mahāsabhā, by Rāmaṉ Kōṉaḍigaḷ alias Pañchavaṉ Pallavaraiyaṉ of Adhirāja- maṅgalam in Vēdakkūr-nāḍu, for burning a lamp in the temple of Tiruchchēlūr- Paramēśvara. A channel called Āditya-vāykkāl and a road Naratonga-vadi are mentioned among the boundaries of this land.

இவ்வூர்க் கல்லால் பொன் 190 கழஞ்சு, பொற்பூ கழஞ்செ முக்கால் மஞ்சாடியும்

This gives a list of the several articles presented to the temple of kailāsam-uḍaiyā- Mahādēva at Sembiyaṉmahadēvi-chaturvēdimaṅgalam in Ala-nāḍu by Sembiyaṉ- Mahādēvi alias Parāntakaṇ Mādēvaḍigaḷār, the mother of Uttama-Chōḷa, in the month of Mina of the year. These comprised a golden pot (weight 190 kaḷañju), two golden forehead-plates (90 kaḷañju), 3 gold flowers (11 ¼ kaḷañju), 21 gold flowers (79 ¾ kaḷañju) and two more gold flowers (5 ½ kaḷañju). Evidently this is a record of Rājarāja I.

அறு உழக்குக்கு வைத்த பொன் அ கழஞ்சு

This records an endowment made by Piśangan Aiyāṟṟaḍigaḷ of Nanandur, of 8 kaḷañju of gold left with the subha of the village, for the supply of ghee for the sacred bath of the god at Tirutturutti, a decadāna village in Arkkāṭṭuk-kūṟṟam, on the day's of sankranti.

This registers an endowment of half (vēli and 2 mā of land for the midday offerings to the god Tiruchchōṟṟuttuṟai-Mahādēva by Māṇandai Srikaṇṭhaṉ Bhaṭṭārakaṉ, the brahmadēya -Kiḻavaṉ (headman) of the village.

This record is stated to be a copy of an earlier inscription dated in the 4th year of the reign of Māṟanjaḍaiyaṉ and relates to the gift of 15 kaḻañju for burning a lamp in the temple of Tirukkōḍika-Mahādēva, by Araiyaṉ-Kaḷvaṉ of Paṉaiyūr in Peraiyūr-nāḍu. The money was left in the custody of the sabhā of Nāraṇakka-chaturvēdimaṅgalam. The original stray stones on which the record had been engraved having become useless, it is said that they were replaced and the old record re-engraved on the new stones.
