Abstract: This record is stated to be a copy of an earlier inscription dated in the 4th year of the reign of Māṟanjaḍaiyaṉ and relates to the gift of 15 kaḻañju for burning a lamp in the temple of Tirukkōḍika-Mahādēva, by Araiyaṉ-Kaḷvaṉ of Paṉaiyūr in Peraiyūr-nāḍu. The money was left in the custody of the sabhā of Nāraṇakka-chaturvēdimaṅgalam.
The original stray stones on which the record had been engraved having become useless, it is said that they were replaced and the old record re-engraved on the new stones.
Content: 𑌸𑍍𑌵𑌸𑍍𑌤𑌿𑌶𑍍𑌰𑍀 [॥*] இதுவும் மொரு பழங்கலபடி [।*] கோ[மாற]ன் சடையற்க்கு' யாண்டு ந[ா*]ன்காவது பேரையூர் நாட்டு பனையூர் அரையன் கள்வன் திருக்கொடிகாலில் 𑌮ஹா𑌦𑍇வற்க்கு நொந்தா விளக்கினுக்கு குடுத்த செம்பொன் பதினைங்கழஞ்சு [।*]இ
[த]ன் பலிசையால் நெ(ல்)லு உழக்கும் பிழை[யா]நாழிக்கீழ் வழக்கின்நால் நிசதி உழக்கு நெய்யு மித்தளிக்கே குணன்து அ [ர்*]ச்சிப்பார்க் களந்து குடுப்பொ[மா]ய் இப்பொ[ன்] கொண்டோம் நாரணக்க சது𑌰𑍍𑌵𑍇மங்கலத்து 𑌸𑌹𑍈யொம் [॥*]
இது பழயகல்படி இந்த ஸ்ரீவிமாநத்திலே ஏற வெட்டிநமையில் முன்னிவாஜகம் வெட்டிக்கிடந்த தனிக்கல்லால் உ𑌭𑍈யோகம் இல்லாமையால் அது தவி(ன)ந்தது [।*] இது முட்டில் பன்மாயே𑌶𑍍𑌵𑌰ரெ கடைக்கூட்ட பெற்றார். [॥*]
