Abstract: This incomplete inscription records the gift of 11 3/4 kaju 3 mā kāśu by Piḷḷaiāṇḍāl, the wife of uḍaiyāṉ Tirukārōṇam-uḍaiyāṉ (a resident) of Perumaṅgalam. This amount was deposited in the temple treasury for burning of nine lamps from the interest accrued thereon. These lamps were to be burnt from the commencement of the service, tiruppalli-eluchchi sandhi, till the early morning service next day. Provision of oil for the above lamps and rice for the food offerings to the god Tiruttuṟai-nāyāṉār was also to be met out from the same interest.

உச்சிச்சந்திக்கு சந்திவிளக்காக விட்ட விளக்கில் எரியும்
விளக்கு ஒன்பதுக்கு திருவிளக்கெண்ணைக்கும் திருமுன் ஒடுக் -
கு ஒன்றுக்கு அரிசி இருநாழிக்கு உபையமாக பெருமங்கலமு
டையான்‌ திருகாரொணமுடையான் பாரியை [பி]ள்ளாண்டாள்
சிபண்டாரத்து ஓடுக்கின காசு ௰௧ 𑿓ந௫௰ இக்[கா]சில் பொ -
லிசை கொண்டு சந்திராதித்[த*]வர் இப்படி செலுத்தக்கடவதானமைக்கு
