Echoes is an interactive map-based platform for exploring materials in our collection, with a special focus on Tamil Nadu temple inscriptions. It enables users to search, filter, and visualise references to mathematical and computational practices, as well as systems of measurement, across different locations and time periods.

By combining geospatial tools with curated scholarly data, Echoes offers an alternative way to engage with the past, revealing insights into everyday social, political and economic life preserved in inscriptions. The platform brings together years of fieldwork and research conducted by historians, archaeologists, linguists, and literary scholars.
