Two weighing stones, one weighing 1 tola and the other weighing 2 tola.

This temple inscription discusses land being set apart for meeting expenses of Tiruvamirtu, Pūtapali, Oḻukkavi, Cānti, Paḷḷittāmam, and Tiruvakkiram and for the payment of temple servants. In case of a default, a fine is prescribed. This record appears to contain the original endowment of Trikkākara Viṣṇu temple, one of the foremost Vaiṣṇsva centres in Kerala, associated with Ōṇam celebration and mentioned by Nammāḷvār.

The object of the record is to issue the grant by Bhojadeva, from his stay at Dhārā, of the village of Virāṭaka, situated in the Nāgahrada paścima pathakā, to Dhanapati bhaṭṭa, a son of Bhaṭṭa Govinda, a Karṇāṭaka Brāhmaṇa of the Āśvalāyana Śākhā, Agasti gotra and three pravaras, who had hailed from śrīvaḍa, situated in Vēlluvalla.

The transliteration of the text is as follows: Oru kadaikkaari sila koli muttai kondu vanthal. Athai oru yevaari(viyaabari) paiyisavukku yirandu muttai kettukkondan. Atharku aval oru muttai yirandu paiyisavukkuthaan kudukkirathenru sollinaal. Atharku avan pidiththu yiluthaan, iluththa maathirathil thavari vilunthu norungi poivittana. Atharku aval meshirittaridathil(?) solli-k kondaal. Athan piragu meshirittarum neerkondu vantha eththinai entru kelkka(ketka), atharkaval nerkku(enaku) kanakku-th theriyavaraathu, aagaiyal oru thishttanthiram ennavenraal "antha muttaiyai irandaya-p pagunthaal onru micham, munraya pagunthaal yirandu micham, naangaaya pagunthaal muntru micham, ainthaa-p pagunthaal naalu micham, aaru-p pagunthaal ainthu micham, yelaaya-p pagunthaal kanakku chariyaayirukkum. The problem is set in the context of a dispute between an egg seller and a customer. The customer ends up breaking all the eggs, and the dispute is brought before a learned mediator. However, the egg seller does not remember the exact number of eggs they had. Instead, all they remember is that if the eggs are divided into 2, 1 remains; if divided into 3, 2 remain; if divided into 4, 3 remain; if divided into 5, 4 remain; if divided into 6, 5 remain; and if divided into 7, no eggs remain.
